A Bit About Us

Catoctin Mountain Cyclery is proud to be a family (and rider!) owned and operated Mountain Bike Shop. We have been a part of the local mountain bike community for more than 25 years, riding the ‘Shed and MoCo, building and repairing bikes, coaching youth mountain bikers, helping build trails. This is a lifelong passion of ours!

If you want your bike set up and built right with parts that are chosen carefully for your needs we're your shop. We are proud to offer some really nice and rider owned and operated brands like Pivot, Yeti, Commencal, Giant, Marin and more! You'll find lots of everyday riding essentials in our store as well.  We hope to become your go to resource for all your mountain biking needs. We carry a nice selection of riding and maintenance essentials. Tire sealant, brake pads, chains, nutrition, pumps, co2, hip packs, eyewear, tires........And much more.

Our shop is less than a minute away from the twisty, flowy singletrack at Little Bennett Regional Park and about 25 minutes from the technical and rocky riding at the Frederick Watershed.
